What an incredible event! Nearly 500 people ventured to Art of Passion by CultureHaus on February 9 to have their senses tantalized. From naked sushi bars to live model painting to a massage parlor, attendees definitely delighted in the many indulgent delectations.
For many, this was a first CultureHaus event. Why not join in all the exclusive events held nearly every month, unique insights about art, private exhibition viewings, and the chance to meet other art enthusiasts?

ICING ON THE CAKE. CultureHaus celebrated its 10th birthday, and oh what a night! We partied in style at the museum with our members, founders, current board and former board members.
Our Honorary Event Co-Chairs were founding board members: Mayor John Hickenlooper and Vicki Sterling.

02.24.07 Art of Pop! Banner Event
HUNDREDS FOUND THEIR 15 MINUTES OF FAME! Our annual fundraiser, celebrated Pop icons and Pop Culture in an over-the-top Warhol-esque/Studio 54 environment at the Denver Art Museum on Saturday evening, February 24th. Honorary Chairman, Mayor John Hickenlooper, quoted Andy Warhol "Making money is art, and working is art, and good business is the best art!" and touted the benefits of living in, and supporting art and culture Denver.Pop art images —from paintings and drawings to sculptures and installation pieces-- were projected on the outside wall of the Denver Art Museum leading to the entrance (along with a bubble machine!). Upon entering the museum, attendees were photographed by Andy Warhol impersonator Steven Pearce and given a Polaroid snapshot as a memento.
Inside, nearly 400 attendees dressed in their best 70s Studio 54 outfits and danced to music of the loungy pop duo, Vanilla POP. KBCO’s afternoon on-air personality, Keefer, emceed the event and Denver Post Style and Fitness editor, Suzanne Brown, awarded the coveted iPOP--an iPod loaded with great pop tunes – to Ania Iwaniczko, aka ”Twiggy”, for her resemblance to the pop icon/model. Best/Most Outrageously dressed runners up included an Edie Sedgwick, a human Lichtenstein print, a human Disco ball, Blondie, and ¬a Marilyn Monroe who were all awarded signed Factory Girl movie posters for their originality.
02.09.07 Art of Pop preparty at Gallery One with pop artist Steve Kaufman!
I hope you didn't miss this! It was fantastic! What a great turnout at Cherry Creek opening. And the chance to meet Steve Kaufman who worked with Andy Warhol in his heyday. Steve's still going strong.- He had some fabulous stories and truly inspiring anecdotes. But if you couldn't make it Steve will join us at our Art of Pop Banner Event at the DAM the 24th of this month.
The Art of Pop celebration party Banner Event is not to be missed! And we're running out of space, so buy tickets now- before it's too late! This is an open invitation for existing CultureHaus members. As well as a extended an invitation to learn more about this support group and the Denver Art Museum. Think Studio 54 and The Factory, Warhol's creative chamber straight out of New York City.
