Embrace! CultureHaus Gala February 6DENVER, CO (January 6, 2010)—CultureHaus, a social and educational support group of the Denver Art Museum connecting the young at heart with art, announced today that it co-sponsored Artist John McEnroe's Embrace! installation, "The Bathers," at the Denver Art Museum's Hamilton Building, along with Darby Donohue.
McEnroe was recently named "Artist of the Year" on the "Top 10 in 2009: Art" list by the Denver Post's Fine Art Critic, Kyle MacMillan. View the story in its entirety at www.denverpost.com/entertainment/ci_14067223. In addition, Embrace! was honored as one of the "Top 10 Art Shows of 2009."
"We are honored to have co-sponsored John McEnroe to create this stunning piece at the Denver Art Museum," commented CultureHaus Board Co-Chair Jenn Penn. "When CultureHaus was founded in 1997, we established a mission of contributing to the collection of the museum, and we could not have selected a more fitting piece to speak to our demographic."
